Terms of Service

The service

Vow & Toast is a web-first wedding-planning platform: 20 planning tools — budget, guest list and RSVP, a private vendor tracker, seating, day-of timeline, checklist, honeymoon, attire, vision and mood board, and more — plus an AI Toast Planner and a vow-writing studio, both guided by Olivia, our AI assistant persona.

AI drafts from Olivia can be wrong. Toasts and vows are yours to review, edit, and own before you deliver them — we don't guarantee that a draft is accurate, appropriate, or ready to use as-is.

Accounts and shared workspaces

You can sign up with an email and password, a magic link, or — where offered — Google or Microsoft sign-in. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 16.

A wedding is a shared workspace with role-based membership: shared planning data is visible to the wedding's members according to their role (inviting members isn't exposed in the app yet). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account.

Your content

You own the content you create — toasts, vows, and everything you enter into your planning tools. Using Vow & Toast means granting us only the license we need to store, process, and display that content back to you (and to the wedding members you've shared it with) in order to run the service. We don't use it for anything beyond that, and we never use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

Using the service, you agree not to:

• Post or generate unlawful content.
• Abuse the AI — attempts to extract, manipulate, or misuse Olivia beyond its intended planning and toast/vow-writing purpose.
• Scrape the service.
• Resell access to the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Plans, in USD: Weekly at $8.99/week, and Annual at $59.99/year. Eligible first-time accounts receive a 3-day free trial on the Annual plan; eligibility is determined at checkout, and an account that has already used a trial is charged immediately. Prices are shown in USD; the currency you're actually charged in at checkout may differ, because that's how Stripe presents it.

Cancel anytime, in one tap, through the Stripe billing portal. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We don't give refunds for partial periods except where the law requires it.

The free tier gives you one toast draft, ever, per account, with a limited number of regenerations per day. An active or trialing subscription unlocks further generation, subject to fair-use limits: toast generation is subject to a best-effort limit of 100 saved drafts per day, and vow generation to a separate 100 requests per day (days reset at midnight UTC).

Fair use and suspension

We may suspend an account that abuses the fair-use caps above, or that otherwise abuses the service — for example, automated scraping or attempts to circumvent the acceptable-use rules.

Availability

Vow & Toast is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before that claim.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time; we'll post material updates on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, United States.
